YES Community Counseling Center is seeking an experienced educational leader to serve as the Project AWARE Local Education Agency (LEA) Project Manager assigned to a local Nassau County School District. Project AWARE is a five year grant funded initiative designed to strengthen a district’s framework for addressing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders while promoting the social and emotional well-being of school-aged youth.

The LEA Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day implementation of Project AWARE within their assigned School District and serve as the primary liaison among YES Community Counseling Center, district leadership and personnel, families, community providers, and other project partners. This position is well-suited for an experienced school or district leader who can work independently, navigate district systems effectively, and manage multiple activities and partnerships.
